1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (pixels, local storage) work in a similar way; here we call them all “cookies”.
2. The public website (fountant.com)
fountant.com sets no cookies of its own and loads no analytics or advertising tools, so it shows no cookie banner.
The access request form loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot protection service from Cloudflare, Inc. that checks technical browser signals to confirm that a person is sending the form. It is a security measure needed for the service you asked for and is not used for advertising. Transfers: USA, relying on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
3. The application (app.fountant.com)
When you enter the application you can reject, accept analytics, or also accept marketing. Rejecting does not stop you from using the service. You can change your choice at any time from Account → Cookies or from “Cookie preferences” on the sign-in screen.
3.1. Necessary (no consent required)
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Duration |

3.2. Analytics (only with your consent)
| Technology | Owner | Purpose | Transfers |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostHog (events sent from our server; no PostHog cookies are set in your browser) | PostHog Inc. — servers in the European Union | Usage metrics for the application and sign-up | No transfer outside the EU |
3.3. Marketing (only with your consent)
| Technology | Owner | Purpose | Duration | Transfers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel (_fbp and, where relevant, _fbc) and Conversions API | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Measuring ad campaigns and sign-ups | _fbp: 3 months | USA, relying on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework |
With your marketing consent we may report certain conversions to Meta (for example, a sign-up) through Conversions API, with the data described in the Privacy policy. If you withdraw consent, we cancel pending sends and will not send new conversions.
4. How to delete cookies from your browser
Besides the application’s preferences, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (see the help for Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge). Blocking the necessary ones will stop you from signing in.
5. More information
Details of the processing and your rights are in the Privacy policy. Each version of this policy is published with its update date.
